Who Are We?

Blessings Abound – A Lutheran Thrift Store is a Partnership with The Lutheran Mission of the Good Shepherd and Metro Lutheran Ministry. We are a retail thrift store which sells quality second-hand (donated) merchandise. One hundred percent of all net proceeds are used to meet the needs of our local community regardless of faith, by generating additional financial resources in support of the two Kansas City Ministries.

You can help! By volunteering just four hours a week or more you can help contribute to our effort, while utilizing your gifts and talents in an exciting and fun atmosphere, working with others in a community that shares your passion and commitment to helping others help themselves. Volunteering at Blessings Abound is a great way to make new friends, renew old friendships, all the while knowing you are contributing to such a worthy cause.

Come see the excellent selection of men’s, women’s, & children’s fashions, as well as a great offering of books, household items, furniture, appliances, toys, and a whole lot more!!!

Store hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday 10:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m.

Call the store (913-648-0700) for details. We will contact our pick up service who will then schedule your pick up. Please call the store before bringing your donations. See volunteer at front desk before bringing donation in the store.
